Daily Dietary Tips for Digestive Wellness

Improve your digestive efficiency and maintain overall health with these simple Ayurvedic-inspired practices:

1. Buttermilk with Meals
Enjoy a glass of well-churned buttermilk with each meal. Season it with cumin seeds, rock salt, fresh coriander leaves, and grated ginger to enhance digestion.

2. Choose Easily Digestible Grains
Opt for unpolished, red, or brown rice as they are light on the stomach and easy to digest.

3. Fortify Your Rotis
If you follow a wheat-based diet, mix 500 grams of barley, ragi, or besan into every 1 kg of wheat flour when preparing rotis or fulkas.

4. Include Ghee
Add one teaspoon of pure ghee to each meal. It nourishes the nervous system and supports smooth digestion.

5. Daily Dose of Fruits
Consume one fresh Amlaki (Indian gooseberry) when in season, or a pomegranate (anar bedana) daily to boost immunity and gut health.

6. Herbal Cumin Water

Avoid store-bought paneer, chhena, cheese, maida (refined flour), hydrogenated oils (dalda), and white sugar.
